Band fastened walnut forend & straight grip stock with steel trap door carbine buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter stating: Type: Carbine, Received in warehouse on January 29,1881, Shipped from warehouse on August 4, 1881, Order number 27111. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to an even brown showing light scratches & marks. Unsanded wood has a dark appearance with some scratches & marks. Sound mechanics.
